Foliar Application of Humic Acid with Fe Supplement Improved Rice, Soybean, and Lettuce Iron Fortification

چکیده
Iron (Fe) deficiency in humans, particularly pregnant women and children, is caused by inadequate dietary Fe intake a global nutritional problem. Foliar fertilization cost-effective agronomic approach to increase bioavailability the human diet. We evaluated effects of different formulations (Fe-citrate, Fe-EDTA, FePO4, nano-Fe oxide, humic acid (HA) with without Fe) on growth, yield, accumulation edible parts rice, soybean, lettuce crops. Rice soybean received multiple sprays at growth stages, i.e., tillering, anthesis, grain filling rice as well flowering pod while single foliar spray. In seed increased proportionally number increased; however, yield did not show this relationship. Among treatments, HA+Fe was identified best treatment terms improving overall plant all three found significant positive correlation between shoot/stover content content, but showed an opposite trend, minimal retention shoots/stovers maximal increases contents both crops, suggesting better mobilization efficiency from shoots developing seeds. strongly recommend that HA can be used fertilizer improve status

The effect of foliar application of urea, humic acid and micronutrients on potato crop
ABSTRACT- The influence of foliar application of urea, humic acid (HA), Zinc (Zn), and Boron (B) on potato yield (CV. Cror) was studied in a field experiment during 2010-2012 at the research farm of Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA). Treatments consisted of i) Control, ii) Nitrogen-Phosphorous-potassium (NPK) (250,150,250 kg ha-1) , iii) NPK (125,75,125 kg ha-1) with 0.03% HA, i...

Iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn) deficiency has been known as a key factor in limiting crop production in calcareous soils of arid and semi-arid regions. Since the components of organic matter can change Fe and Zn availability, this study was conducted to investigate the effects of humic treatments including humic acid (HA), fulvic acid (FA), vermicompost (Verm), HA+FA and HA+FA+Verm and mycorhiza inocu...
متن کاملPhysiological response of Okra cv. Kano to foliar application of putrescine and humic acid under water deficit stress
To investigate effects of putrescine (Put) and humic acid (HA) on fruit yield and physiological attributes of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. 'Kano') under water deficit stress, a field experiment was conducted in split plot based on a randomized complete block design with three replications. Plants were exposed to three different irrigation regimes (33%, 66% and 100% ETc) and were treated with...
متن کاملRosmarinic Acid and Anthocyanin Content Improvement by Foliar Application of Fe and Zn Fertilizer in Lemon Balm (Melissa Officinalis L.)
Melissa officinalis L. is a well-known medicinal plant from the family of lamiaceae. The plant is high in flavonoid. Flavonoids of lemon balm such as rosmarinic acid and anthocyanin have an antiviral and antioxidant effect. Micronutrients are the element that is necessary for the plant in low concentration. In this experiment the effect of micronutrient (Fe and Zn) was examined on the ...
